This slime mold is a frequent size on dead wood. It starts off as a number of small pink spherical shaped growths, which eventually fade to brown. If you poke one of these brown sacs, when they are still immature, a pink liquid will emerge from them. However, once they are fully mature. The inside is filled with brown spores. Poking them at this stage will let out a cloud of brown spores.
