These little cups are much tiny than I had imagined. All the photos online seem to be extreme closeups. Without any context, I assumed they were much larger. The ones in the photo below are about 1/8″ to 1/4″ diameter at the largest. I didn’t examine the wood it was growing on too closely. But, there were lots of downed Elm, Oak, Hickory, and Cherry in the area. I should have done some color correcting to the images though. They are more red than they appear in these photos.
