When I first became interested in mushroom foraging. I wanted to buy a field guide specific to my state. I was able to find some for my region, or from neighboring states. But, the weather and terrain varies quite a bit in Connecticut. So, while there might be plenty of overlap with the surrounding areas. I thought a state specific guide would really be best to hone in on my local area. So, I started to document my journey and in the hopes of creating a book specific to Connecticut.
